Introduction :
From the very beginning, I was eager to understand the Quran and Hadith. The challenge, however, was finding a good institute that could teach proper Islamic knowledge without dividing Islam into sects. In my society, there are many sects — Shia, Sunni, Barelvi, and others — and my parents wanted me to gain neutral, authentic knowledge. It was a real challenge to shape my young mind into a pure understanding of Islam without being influenced by sectarian divisions.
That’s when my journey began. One of our neighbors, Hafsa, showed us the way, and I am still thankful to her. She was learning Quran at an institute and guided me to join as well. From the very first days there, I discovered the real meaning of being a true Muslim. The institute encourages thinking beyond sects, spreads positivity, and helps girls grow into better, more confident individuals who can contribute positively to society.
The Foundation of My Journey: A Home Without Sects
I will definitely tell you about the institute and its environment, but before that, let me explain the importance of giving our youth Islamic knowledge beyond sects, because there is absolutely no concept of sects in Islam from the time of the Prophet ﷺ. These divisions came later, and many of them fall under bid‘at, which we should avoid.
Alhamdulillah, I was blessed to be born into a neutral and balanced family. My mother was born in Saudi Arabia and never believed in sects. I am truly grateful for her because she is the biggest role model in my life — the best person I have ever known — and her influence shaped my understanding of Islam from childhood.
My father, too, is a man of great knowledge. He is a PhD scholar, and he always kept his beliefs clear and pure, free from sects, peers, taweez, or anything not proven from Quran and Sunnah. From a very young age, he taught us the translation of the Quran, helping us understand the message of Allah directly.
So yes, I can proudly say that I grew up in a religious and balanced home, and my parents truly gave us the best foundation in life.
The Institute That Redefined Islamic Learning for Me
Now let me take you to the next part — the institute itself. I joined their hifz classes, and from the very first day, I noticed how disciplined and respectful the environment was. The entire staff consisted of women, all observing proper veil and maintaining modest, appropriate dressing. We had a proper uniform with scarves, and they even taught us how to carry our scarf in a way that ensured good coverage of the head and body.
All the grown women wore abayas, and the environment felt more like a well-managed private school than what people usually imagine when they hear the word “madrassa.” The building was extremely clean, organized, and even sterilized daily — something my parents and I truly admired.
In our society, madrassas are often portrayed as messy or harsh places, but this institute was the complete opposite. There was no concept of beating, harshness, or mistreating students. It was a girls-only institute with an all-female staff, which made it even safer and more comfortable. The teachers were gentle, polite, and incredibly decent. They taught us mainly through their behaviour, not just their words — and honestly, that made the biggest difference.
Children learn more from what they see than what they are told, and these bajis embodied the best manners. Their routine, discipline, and character were inspiring. They taught us good habits practically, by setting the perfect example every single day.
A Pure Islamic Learning Environment That Transformed Our Hearts
Now let me tell you how beautifully and simply they taught us Islam. The institute had arrangements for Jumma namaz for women, and this played a huge role in our learning. Every Friday, during the khutbah, Qari Sahab delivered beneficial lessons — but let me clarify, his voice reached us through a speaker connected to the nearby masjid. There were absolutely no men inside the institute, and everything was arranged with complete modesty and safety.
Those weekly khutbahs taught us more than we expected. And every Thursday, our head principal would come to deliver a special lecture to help us improve our daily routines. Honestly, those Thursday talks changed me. Every week I felt motivated, disciplined, and determined to do something good.
The institute also gave us pamphlets of duas and small books that explained how to offer salah properly. This helped a lot because many girls prayed differently due to confusion or lack of guidance. Instead of forcing their own opinions, the teachers showed us clear hadiths and daleels so we could understand and choose the correct method ourselves. They never imposed anything — they gave us pure knowledge from the Quran and authentic Hadith, and allowed us to learn with confidence and clarity.
How My Institute Built Confidence, Not Fear
They created an environment where learning Islam felt safe and dignified. If anyone ever did something incorrectly, they never pointed it out in public or embarrassed the student. Never. Instead, they would gently call the girl in private and show clear ahadith, allowing her to understand and make her own decision with confidence. That was the beauty of their teaching—no insecurity, no shame, no harshness. I completed my Hifz in just two years, then appeared in the Wifaq exam and secured Mumtaz (first position). I felt deeply proud of my institute. I wished every girl could come there, learn pure and authentic Islamic knowledge, and become a strong Muslim woman. Through my blog, I want to convey this message—I want to contribute to the Muslim society. I want women to feel confident in Islam, to live peacefully, to feel loved by their Lord, and to rise as leaders of this ummah. And for that, we need nothing but full, authentic knowledge.

I studied at the Multan, Nasheman branch in Pakistan, and I was truly impressed by the staff, environment, and overall atmosphere. I am confident that all other branches maintain the same high standards. I am especially inspired by Dr. Farhat Hashmi, the founder of AlHuda, who is undoubtedly a remarkable woman and a great role model for all of us.
